Freshcare, Australia’s largest provider of assurance programs for the fresh produce, wine grape and supply chain industries, has today announced the appointment of two new Directors, Andrew Redman and Alison Buxton, and the reappointment of Director Jane Lovell.
Andrew Redman, Chief Technical and Sustainability Officer for Perfection Fresh Australia brings over 20 years experience in the sector to histhree-year board appointment.
Alison Buxton, has significant experience across Supply Chain and Marketing within Australia and the broader Asia Pacific market to her one-year board appointment.
Jane Lovell, who has already made significant contributions to the Freshcare Board, has been reelected for a three-year team.
The Freshcare Board and team would like to thank and acknowledge outgoing Director Belinda Hazell for her excellence in leadership, governance and commitment to industry, throughout her 10-year tenure on the Freshcare Board. Belinda’s expertise, knowledge and passion for the Australian fresh produce industry has been invaluable in developing Freshcare’s strategic direction and vision.

Our New Directors
Andrew Redman is the Chief Technical and Sustainability Officer for Perfection Fresh Australia. He is focused on bringing a commercial and collaborative leadership style to deliver improved food safety and quality of fresh produce that exceed ever-increasing consumer expectations.
Andrew also oversees the Sustainability program for the Perfection Fresh Group. In addition, Andrew is a board member of the Fresh Produce Safety Centre. Andrew has broad global experience with more than 20 years in the food industry in senior Quality and Research roles, working for some of the world’s largest food manufacturers including General Mills, Danone, Mars and Campbells Soups.
Andrew will be presented at The Australian Assurance Summit on Tuesday 14th, November in the session From Local to Global: Emerging Industry Trends & Market Access Realities.

Alison Buxton is a highly experienced, commercially astute and well-rounded business leader who has built a successful career in blue-chip, multinational organisations across several industries.
