Freshcare Limited is an industry-led, not-for-profit organisation established to provide assurance programs which enhance the market access of Australian fresh produce and wine grapes.

Freshcare’s purpose is to ensure our best-practice standards and services meet the industries’ needs now, and for the future, to safeguard Australian producers and industry. Through collaboration with industry leaders, peak bodies and government stakeholders, Freshcare continues to execute its Strategic Vision 2030, building industry capacity through innovation and leadership.

Under its Constitution, two Directors are required to retire annually and are eligible to re-nominate for election for a three-year term. In addition, a new Director position is being sought for a one-year term to replace David Daniels who recently stood down as Director.

Therefore, Freshcare Limited is seeking nominations to fill 3 (three) Board vacancies (effective from 14 February 2023). The Board meeting schedule is a minimum of four times per year (twice by teleconference), with meeting fees and expenses paid.

Candidates should have a sound knowledge of the Australian fresh produce and/or wine industry and experience in governance and financial management.
