Freshcare 2030 survey launched

Published on February 27, 2019

Freshcare is Australia’s industry owned on-farm assurance program established in 2000 for the fresh product sector.   With Australian agriculture predicted to have a value of $100bn by 2030[1], Freshcare believes that the time is right to talk with its members and stakeholders to ensure that its program is well positioned to support their needs as they work to 2030.

Freshcare Board Chair, Allan Dall, explained the survey will provide the opportunity for stakeholders to influence future activities that Freshcare provide.  ‘Our focus is to help businesses thrive by providing clear, accessible, and user-friendly resources and services that support their market compliance requirements.  By listening to what our participating businesses and stakeholders say, we will be able to shape our future work and services.  It is for this reason we encourage as many of our participating businesses and stakeholders to take part’ he said.

Freshcare is working with Optimum Standard to conduct the survey.  Participating Businesses will be contacted via email and provided a link that will enable them to participate anonymously.  Some Participating Businesses who do not have direct access to email will be contacted by telephone.  The survey will also be able to be accessible via the Freshcare website.  As a way of thanking Participating Businesses for providing feedback, survey respondents can take up the option to leave their details at the end of the survey, to go into the draw for a chance to win a $1,000 gift card (terms and conditions apply).

Stakeholders such as Owner Members, Trainers, Certification Bodies, Freshcare Customers and Retailers will be provided a designated link and/or also contacted by telephone to seek their feedback for input into a separate Stakeholder Survey.

The Survey period will be open for two weeks.
